This is a modern block of the month pattern that I am going to attempt with a VERY experienced quilting friend of mine. I’ll post the fabrics as soon as I have them all collected and will post completed blocks too. I’ve never done a block of the month before…I hope it only takes 12 months Keep watching the website and/or my Facebook page for updates.

June 14 & 15, 2013 – Lethbridge College main gymnasium.
Presented by the Lethbridge Centennial Quilters Guild. Admission is $8. Parking is FREE. There are QUILTS, of course, plus a merchant mall, raffle quilts and viewer’s choice awards.
Cardston Quilt Exhibit

On August 17 and 18 (Friday and Saturday) there is a Quilt Exhibit at the Remington Carriage Museum in Cardston.
Not only is there a quilt show, but you can also take in the Miniature Chuckwagon Races, Farmers Market, Free pancake Breakfast on Saturday. Something for all the family!
Fort Macleod Quilt Show

The Fort Macleod quilters guilds are hosting another quilt show! August 11 and 12 from 9am until 5pm at the historic Fort NWMP Museum.
It’s a great show with entries from guild and non-guild members hung throughout the Fort. Plan to take it in.
As added incentive – find the 2 quilts I submitted, email me the quilt names and you’ll have the chance to win NINE PATCH PANACHE. A new book with 40+ (yes, 40) nine patch patterns! Entries taken until August 15.
